City Council recently rezoned property near that intersection to make way for Princess Anne Village, a development of 93 dwelling units.
Lot types will be a mix of large single-family, medium single-family and cottages, in addition to 16 garage apartments, according to city planning documents. Each dwelling will have a front porch and varied rooflines, consistent with the Courthouse Historic & Cultural District Overlay.
The development will front the east side of Princess Anne Road, from North Landing Road to Holland Road. The overall site is 56.45 acres, but wetlands and a utility easement reduce the allowable buildable area to 37.15 acres.
