The Norfolk Tides’ game at Gwinnett on Thursday night was postponed due to rain and wet field conditions.
The contest will be made up as part of a doubleheader Friday, beginning at 5:05 p.m. at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
The teams split the first two games of the series, with the Tides rolling 12-1 on Tuesday and the Stripers winning 11-10 on Wednesday.
Norfolk (58-32, 10-6 second half) is expected to start right-hander Chayce McDermott in the first game Friday. Gwinnett (40-51, 7-9) is expected to counter with righty Allan Winans.
