A man was killed in a shooting in Norfolk late Monday night, police said.
Officers responded to the 1300 block of Sunset Drive in the Bayview neighborhood at about 11:55 p.m. following a report of an unresponsive person, according to a news release from the department. They found a man at the scene suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
The man, whose name not been released while police work to inform his next of kin, was pronounced dead at the scene.
