Art: Here Come The Surfmen | July 14-29
Dare Arts Council hosts exhibition by local artists Noah Snyder, Daniel Pullen and Mike Rowe celebrating ocean and surf culture. Rowe is a surfboard shaper who creates sculptures from the waste of glassing surfboards. Pullen is a renowned local photographer whose exhibit features Hatteras Island surf culture. Touring for almost 18 years, band took root in Raleigh at an open mic night in 2005 when several musicians decided to play a few Skynyrd tunes.
